The Gaulitanus Choir was once again invited to participate in the Leljet Lapsi: Notte Gozitana events held in Victoria on Saturday, 15th May.
The choir took part in a lunchtime concert held at the Cathedral Church which also featured the Chorus Urbanus. Four pieces are scheduled for the 9:00 a.m . Prelude . One is a tone poem vision of Psalm 23:2 He Leadeth Me Beside Still Waters This was written in the 1960s by an elegant American composer named James Rasley . As far as I know , he only left behind church music--both choral and organ . His Beside Still Waters makes use of String Flute voices , and calls for a Cello-range-colored solo passage .
